For teachers and case managers
Today's update, sent home in a minute.
Talk at pickup in place of filling in a sheet, and see what's working at home and in therapy.

What you get today
- Send home today's update by talking. No sheet to lose in the backpack.
- The same strategy in every room. See what works at home and in therapy, and use it in class.
- Only what matters for school. You never see what the family keeps private.
What you'll see
- After a break or at a transition. What changed, what made transitions easier before, and today's triggers and early signs.
- Health that affects learning. Sleep, fatigue or a medication change, only if the family chooses to include it.
What it leaves out: home detail unrelated to school, anything marked parents only, and medications unless the family adds them.
The worry: is this more paperwork, and what can I share?
It replaces the daily sheet. It doesn't add to it. Chorus is the family's own record, not a school record. Keep yours as you do now.
Share what you would tell the parent at the door, at the start of a session or at handoff. Once you add it, it is part of the family's record, and the parent decides who sees it.
Coming next
The family's input, ready before the IEP meeting. How the child is at home for "present levels", what works there, and other providers' views, gathered before you meet.
