Collecting health-related information about your child
Last updated 5 October 2026.
To do what you are asking it to do, Chorus needs to store health-related information about your child — what happened, what helped, what a therapist suggested.
It also needs to send what was said to a speech-to-text service, and to Anthropic, whose language model turns it into a readable note.
Anthropic deletes what we send within 30 days and does not use it to train their models. If their safety systems flag something, they can keep it for longer. We have asked them for an arrangement where nothing is kept at all, and we do not have it yet — when we do, this screen will say so.
This covers the app doing the job you asked for. It does not cover the optional features on the next screen, which you can decline separately.
Without this, Chorus cannot record or store notes about your child, and capture stays switched off.
You can withdraw this consent at any time in Settings. Withdrawing it switches recording off; the notes already written stay until you delete them, and you can delete them whenever you want.
We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with anyone you have not chosen to share it with.
Raw audio is deleted after 30 days. The written note stays until you delete it.
Version 2.0.0. If it changes in a way that matters, Chorus asks again and shows what changed.
